I don't believe it. I have heard basically unconfirmed (but credible) rumors that we actually defeated the Enforcers, 2-1, for a legitimate win.
And I wasn't there because I was not willing to inflict a very early trip to the airport upon a friend. I am weak and feeble, like Ukraine.
I am told that our goalie was spot-on (except for the one goal) and our top scorer got credit for both of our goals. And that we took no penalties. Perhaps because one of our more penalty-prone players was not there.
The next game is in a week and a half. I look forward to it, and I hope that my legs will be up to the task. I should really find some stick-puck time before then. By that point, it will be nearly a month without playing a game.
