    <p>Here I am, playing Alliance characters in <a
    href="http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/">my newest massive time
    suck.</a>  I decide to take my <a
    href="http://www.questionable.org/wow/index.cgi?Fatima">human
    priestess</a> exploring over the continent of Kalimdor to pick
    up some flight points that I don't have yet, and to drop by
    Feathermoon (ass end of the world) to see the Alliance's master
    alchemist.  Starting from the Eastern Kingdoms, she takes a
    boat across the sea, and starts hiking from Theramore towards
    the Barrens.</p>

    <p>In many places along the way, I just stop and look at the
    scenery.  My list of places that look good:</p>

    <ul>
        <li>Thousand Needles (honorable mention: Shimmering Flats)</li>
        <li>Thunder Bluff</li>
    </ul>

    <p>Quite separately, there are places that don't look spectacular
    but do an excellent job of conveying a feeling:</p>

    <ul>
        <li>Desolace</li>
        <li>Duskwood</li>
        <li>Feralas</li>
        <li>Wetlands</li>
    </ul>

    <p>But let us not forget the places that annoy me:</p>

    <ul>
        <li>Barrens (yawn)</li>
        <li>Duskwood (lousy geography)</li>
        <li>Gnomeregan (felt more like a prison than the Stockades)</li>
    </ul>

    <p>On the whole, however, I don't regret spending the money or
    the time.  Yet.  Hopefully my beloved will continue to put up
    with this as well as she has been so far.</p>
