Last night Sarah went on a barking rampage when she heard noises on the side of the house. Apparently they were very different noises from the ones she knew, even though they were the same neighbors (and their friends) making said noise. Something about the neighbors being up on their roof really annoyed Sarah.
Sarah has been known to bark ferociously at a possum in the back neighbor's tree. Said tree may be consuming the utility pole at the edge of our back yard. The possum just sits in the tree (or on a wire) and taunts the poor puppy who can't reach her. And occasionally poops at her too.
My only guess is that something about relative elevation really annoys Sarah. I don't suppose anyone else has a better explanation?
